In late July, 2006, we were notified by the owners of our former flying field that we would have to close our field.

Club members set out in all directions to find a suitable location to re-establish the flying field.

Patience and persistence paid off and a new site was located in Big Flats, a short distance to the west of the old field. The field was mowed, raked, and prepared for use.

Located off Daniel Zenker Road, the field run north/south and provides us with an excellent flying venue. The majority of our field equipment was moved and set up at the new field, and by the end of September we were up and flying again...

At the south end of the field we have a large pond that is perfect for float plane operations. Directions and more information about the field can be found on the Field Information Page...
