WHERE DO I GO TO LEARN ABOUT THE RC HOBBY?

You can come out to our field and watch us fly and ask lots of questions!!  You also can come to one of our meeting (at the field in the summer), all will give you a hand in getting started!

        WHAT DO I NEED TO GET STARTED?

First, you will need an AMA MEMBERS CARD. There are several ways to get one!

Second,  you will need a plane!!  There are many good kits out there for the beginner, the closest place in our area to get one is at  Lantz's Wholesale Trains in Horseheads, NY. You can ask one of the members on help to pick a good one out!

Third,   you need to talk to our members to help you learn to fly!!  NEVER TRY YOUR FIRST FLIGHTS BY YOURSELF !!!!  Your plane can be a very dangerous if you have never flown radio control models before!!

WHY DO I NEED AN AMA MEMBERSHIP CARD?

Your plane out of control can be very dangerous, your AMA MEMBERSHIP gives you liability insurance! And you can't fly at our field without one!!
